A membership with BCGE is the first step to designing your company’s journey to implementing workplace gender equality. As a member of BCGE, your company will be recognized for your commitment, credibility, and progressive thinking.
A membership with BCGE is the first step to designing your company’s journey to implementing workplace gender equality. As a member of BCGE, your company will be recognized for your commitment, credibility, and progressive thinking.
All members of BCGE must:
⦁ Be a legally registered company/organization in Myanmar
⦁ Be compliant to legislated laws and regulations in Myanmar
⦁ Must not be on the blacklist of the Myanmar Government, the World Bank, ADB, DFAT, DFID and other internationl agencies
⦁ Free full-day ‘Understanding Workplace Gender Equality’ training
⦁ Free Workplace Gender Equality Assessment which provides a snapshot of where you are on your current workplace gender equality journey
⦁ Member access to all BCGE events and activities
⦁ Member access to BCGE Chamber of Commerce partners’ events and activities (CCI France, EuroCham, AustCham)
⦁ Access to membership appreciation dinners and networking events
⦁ Discounted rates for BCGE services
We offer four levels of membership with varying access to benefits and discounts to our services.
Observer Members are organizations who are not yet ready to initiate or implement Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives in their journey but are interested in learning more through our network.
Initiator Members are organizations who want to initiate Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives in their journey. Initiator Members complete at least 1 action within 12 months of a membership term.
Implementer Members are organizations who want to continue Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion activities in their journey. Implementer Members complete at least 2 actions within 12 months of a membership term.
Leader Members are organizations who want to make advancements in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion journey. Leader Members complete at least 3 actions within 12 months of a membership term.

⦁ Have at least one additional policy, practice, or initiative in relation to workplace gender equality
⦁ Have leadership commitment for workplace gender equality
