The team of Coca-Cola led by their CPO, Ma Goldie Shwe Yee Win Lei, posing with 16 days campaign posters after the talk
Our Leader Member, Coca-Cola Pinya Beverages Myanmar, celebrated 16 Days campaign together with us and invited our Country Director, Daw Kyawt Kay Thi Win, to deliver an insightful and thought-provoking talk. The talk highlighted the pervasive nature of bullying, harassment, and sexual harassment, dispelling common myths that downplay their impact. It is also emphasized that harassment could occur anywhere, the need to address its root causes and preventing harassment is critical to ensuring a safe, inclusive, and productive workplace and many more critical topics to consider. The key takeaways are:
- Organisations must lead by example, implementing robust policies to identify, address, and prevent harassment and create safe reporting mechanisms, foster awareness through training, and enforce zero-tolerance policies.
- On the other hand, employees need to recognise and report incidents, support affected colleagues, and challenge inappropriate behaviour when witnessed.
Through individual participation in the discussion activity, this talk reinforces Coca-Cola’s dedication to creating a safe and inclusive workplace and aligns with the global mission to end gender-based violence.
