Inclusive Leadership – DEI Masterclass by BCGE in collaboration with HRM Asia

BCGE proudly presents the DEI Masterclass, “Inclusive Leadership”, in collaboration with HRM Asia, as a highlight of the prestigious HR Fest Awards 2025. This master class aims to empower leaders at all levels to foster an equitable and inclusive workplace culture, which is crucial for driving meaningful organisational change.

Led by Daw Kyawt Kay Thi Win, Country Director of BCGE, DEI Thought Leader and Strategist, participants will engage in a comprehensive, one-day program that provides action-oriented learning on the fundamental principles and key concepts of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. The Masterclass will guide leaders in self-reflection and explore how these principles can be applied in the real-world work environment, empowering them to incorporate these insights into their management practices and catalyse significant organisational transformation.

Masterclass Overview

This Masterclass program equips participants with:

  • Examine the concepts of diversity, equity, and inclusion, reflecting on personal experiences, and expanding this knowledge to encompass the broader realms of the workplace and society.
  • Identify factors that hinder the development of equitable and inclusive workplaces, and explore ways to address these challenges.
  • Acquire action-oriented skills and knowledge to become an inclusive leader who can effectively manage the “S” (social) component of ESG.
  • Explore the dynamics of generational diversity and ways to effectively incorporate it within your organisation.

Speaker

Kyawt Kay Thi Win is a recognized diversity, equity, and inclusion expert and strategist. She currently serves as the Country Director of the Business Coalition for Gender Equality Association in Myanmar. Kyawt has a proven track record of supporting 13 organizations in Myanmar to obtain the Global Gender Equality Certification. She also served as the Technical Team Lead for Myanmar in the development of the Regional Gender Equality Assessment, collaborating with the Workplace Gender Equality Agency in Australia and Business Coalitions for Women Empowerment in Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam.

Furthermore, Kyawt designed and developed the first workplace gender equality index and assessment in Myanmar, known as ‘Know Your WGE’, which guides organizations in their gender reporting process. In her consulting work, Kyawt focuses on strategic solutions to foster equitable and inclusive workplaces, emphasizing inclusive leadership, creating a workplace for all, embracing respectful workplaces, combating unconscious bias, leading inclusive communications, and overcoming norms and stereotypes to improve employee engagement and increase productivity. Kyawt has become a leading voice for the business sector’s DEI agenda in Myanmar and was recognized as an Asia D&I Champion Award 2022 winner. Currently, she is a Certified Diversity Executive® candidate from the Institute for Diversity Certification and serves as the president of the ASEAN Human Development Organisation, Myanmar Chapter, as well as the founder of Up The Starts.
