Inspire Inclusion with BCGE: WGE 101 Awareness Session

In celebration of 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲, we proudly hosted an awareness session on 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝟏𝟎𝟏 (𝐖𝐆𝐄 𝟏𝟎𝟏), exclusively tailored for our member organisations on March 8. Serving as the paramount platform for businesses dedicated to fostering an equitable and inclusive workplace environment that thrives amidst today’s competitive landscape, this special two-hour session explored various crucial topics.

Throughout the session, lead facilitated by our Head of Department, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Daw Catherine Hone Paing and Senior HR Lead, Daw Mya Hpone Thant, participants explored Understanding Equality and Inequality, Gender equality, Workplace Gender Equality (WGE) and why it matters, Safeguarding WGE through infrastructure, and many more interesting topics, all complemented by engaging exercises designed to facilitate meaningful learning experiences.

The awareness session garnered participation from HR practitioners, people managers, and enthusiastic employers/employees from our member organisations, fostering a dynamic atmosphere enriched by interactive discussions between attendees and our expert facilitators.
