About the Speaker
She developed an innovative model/curriculum of “Transformative Gender through Sexuality Dialogue” to tackle gender inequality issues in Myanmar. She founded Local Women Organization called Akhaya in 2010 working to improve the rights of women by executing her self-developed model within different ethnic communities, Government institutes, local and international NGOs, religious institutes and business. She is TEDx speaker in Myanmar. She launched the very first women action campaign called “whistle for help” to combat sexual harassment on the buses in Myanmar, in 2012.
