Creating a respectful and thriving workplace requires organisations to embrace the principles of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), while actively addressing cultural norms, biases, and issues like harassment. Just as important is the implementation of strong policies that support these principles, ensuring an environment where every employee feels respected, valued, and empowered to succeed. Rohto Mentholatum (Myanmar) Company Limited, Leader Member of us, have gone through the regional gender equality assessment, GEARS, understands the vital role of fostering a respectful workplace and took proactive steps to ensure their team is equipped with the knowledge and tools to thrive. Under this year’s 16 Days of Activism Campaign, Rohto Mentholatum (Myanmar) Company Limited, undertook a series of training sessions, from the second to the final week of November, covering essential topics such as Building Respectful Workplaces, Preventing Bullying and Harassment, Analysing Real-World Cases, Understanding the Business Impact of Harassment, Proactive Prevention Strategies. These sessions are an important step toward creating a more inclusive and supportive workplace for all.
